It's quite funny, okay, so there is this thing called Tuesday Comedy Night, on BBC Entertainment and we watch it after Psych (awesome show). So when it's school, we (I) can only watch half of QI before we (I) had to go to bed. Okay, so now that it's holidays (Yay!) and I can watch the whole thing! The funny thing is that I thought there was only one comedy show after QI but I was wrong....
There are 3... 3!!! So now it 11:15 here and I'm still watching Live At the Apollo...
Don't get me wrong, I love comedy shows and British humour is pretty good, but 4 shows in a row is getting a bit much. And although my brother killed himself laughing (even though he had no idea what was going on) and I have to admit the shows were funny, but maybe you should have things in smaller bites? But what do I know?
So moving on from my laughter night, one of the comedians has just said he had a PE teacher who was from, and I quote, "Suid Afrika," even said it with a very bad Afrikaans accent. So normally I'm overjoyed when TV shows, movies or anything really mentions us but not when we are the bad guys or the evil PE teachers...
Another example of evil comments was an NCIS episode where the big bad bomb builder is... South African. Or even an episode of Rosemary and Time where the killer was a woman from Bloem. And don't even get me started on the accents they say we have, you'd think we couldn't speak English correctly. Do you people, from other countries, really think so little of us?
Okay I have to go but I haven't finished my little rant so...
I'll be back...
